The alignment of two shafts can be checked with an alignment measuring instrument.
If the alignment of a shaft is poor after installation, the basic inspection methods include: measurement inspection, vibration inspection, bearing trace analysis, etc.
Measurement and inspection: measure the end face with a dial indicator to obtain the maximum and minimum values, and then convert them into misalignment angles
Vibration inspection: frequency domain analysis method is usually used to carry out Fourier expansion of center vibration signal. If the rotating shaft has poor alignment, the second octave will produce a relatively large value. When the amplitude exceeds 50% of the first octave amplitude, it means that the misalignment has been corrected.
Bearing trace analysis: after the bearing runs, the contact track appears on the inner side of the raceway. Through the feature recognition of the contact track, the alignment can be judged.
