Common heating problems in bearing high-speed operation

The fit of the inner and outer rings of the bearing and the dimensional tolerance of the bearing seat and bearing housing are out of tolerance. The size and surface finish of the bearing mating parts affect the bearing operation. If the bearing seat is too large or the bearing chamber is too small, the radial clearance of the bearing will be reduced after the bearing is hot installed, causing the bearing to generate heat, and in serious cases, the bearing may be blocked;
If the bearing seat is too small, its inner ring and shaft are easy to loose during operation, or the inner ring and rolling body rotate together, resulting in serious wear of the inner ring and shaft, vibration and heat failure.
During the precision treatment of the bearing pedestal, the perpendicularity of the shaft bearing retaining edge and the end face of the shaft shoulder was not guaranteed, resulting in the deflection or non-concentrality of the inner and outer rings of the bearing after installation, and the rolling element could not accurately roll in the bearing raceway, causing the raceway part to bear excessive load, resulting in the bearing overheating.
Double-sided sealed bearings usually do not need additional grease and can effectively guarantee their service life. Excessive or impure grease added to the non-sealed bearing is the main reason for the bearing heating problem.
In addition, if too little grease is added to the bearing, the bearing will not be lubricated with a certain amount of grease, which will also cause heat.
