Since a bearing can use different bearing blocks, and a bearing block can also use different types of bearings at the same time, there are many types of bearing blocks. Bearing boxes are easy to contain, and many large foreign bearing companies also have their own bearing box catalogs. However, the same bearing seat model is not completely the same in different company samples. For different applications of standard bearing seats, different housings can be provided, such as gray cast iron, nodular cast iron and cast steel, stainless steel and plastic special housings.

According to the different requirements of bearing and bearing seat, the classification of bearing seat is not the same. When using it, carefully check the selection according to the design.
1 Classification according to the shape of bearing seat:
1.1 Outer spherical bearing with seat, also known as bearing unit (SKF). When there is no bearing, it is called the outer spherical bearing seat. 1.1.1.1 The outer spherical bearing seat is divided into 200 series according to the bearing series. 500 series. 300 series. 600 series. XOO series.
1.2 The outer spherical bearing seat is divided into vertical seat (P seat), square seat (F seat), rhombic seat (FL seat), round seat (C seat), convex round seat (FC seat), convex square seat (FS seat), blind hole seat (PA seat) and hanging seat (FA seat) according to the shape.
1.3 Integral (i.e. non-separated) vertical bearing pedestal assembly with screw fastening bearing housing cover. These vertical bearing blocks were originally developed as axle boxes of light rail trucks, but can also be used for traditional vertical bearing blocks. The non-separated vertical bearing pedestal assembly is more rigid than the separated bearing pedestal, and some can bear heavier loads. The outer spherical bearing seat is also an integral seat.
2 Split bearing seat
2.1 Split bearing seat is divided into SN2, 5, 3 and 6 series according to the different bearings selected and the requirements of the shaft. SNL2, SNL5 and SD have 2, 5, 3, 6, 3100, 3000 and 3200 [1]
Bearing pedestals are divided into: split bearing pedestals, sliding bearing pedestals, rolling bearing pedestals, flanged bearing pedestals, outer spherical bearing pedestals, etc.
For installation of tapered hole bearing pedestal
If the conical surface is equipped with a set sleeve and a withdrawal sleeve, the tapered hole bearing can be installed on the tapered journal. The radial clearance of the bearing can be reduced to balance the tightness. Before installation, the radial clearance of the bearing should be measured. During installation, the clearance should be measured regularly until the required clearance reduction is achieved. Generally, lock nuts can be used for installation, and heating can also be used for installation.
Installation of thrust bearing pedestal
The installation of thrust bearing is relatively simple. First, fix the central spring of two-way thrust bearing on the shaft to prevent it from rotating on the shaft. The fit of bearing inner race and shaft belongs to interference fit, and the fit of bearing outer race and bearing housing belongs to clearance fit.
